Try not to necropost topics without a reason. I've removed your other posts. Unfortunately, you don't provide anywhere near the sufficient level of detail in your request necessary to help us understand anything about what you want to do. An image of what the script does isn't super helpful if we ha...

New master server and auth system is coming along pretty well. All of the nasty crypto is fully functional, and the only hard part left is finishing a process isolated integration of Ruby with T2 (which is about 80% done). I've decided to use OpenDHT for online listing and storage purposes. It is un...

Does it have its own mod tools? No? Has a third party developer hacked some together? No? In that case, you'll need to develop your own mod tools. How on earth do you do that? You'll need to reverse engineer the game and determine how data is loaded from files (thus how it is stored), game play logi...

More necromancy: I've finished writing a 234 line Ruby script that performs RSA encryption/verification, decryption/signing, and secure RSA key generation (which includes a hardened Mersenne Twister random number generator, and a complete Miller Rabin prime number tester). Generating RSA-1024 keys c...

Here is a copy of the game mirrored on The-Construct: http://xfer1.the-construct.net/tribes2/tribes2_gsi.exe If you still have your CD-key, you might be able to get your account reset. I don't know whom you have to email to get that done, but it could be possible. I need hosting for a new online com...

Full version of T2 is pretty easy to come by. Online account keys are not, though that may be rectified fairly soon. The nice thing about Quake is that the source code for all of the Quake games up to Quake 3 is open under the GPL. You can get them all from id's website: http://www.idsoftware.com/bu...

Time for some necromancy: Insane Turkey grafted Ruby onto T2 in a similar manner to the way Linker grafted Lua onto T2. Ruby is significantly more useful for an authentication server replacement script than Lua, because Ruby has built in (and very fast) support for large integer mathematics. I'm bru...

I don't see any questions in that post. I haven't worked on my system, because I have precious little time, and it is devoted to getting more important things done. The master servers go down roughly once per month now (usually on the 4th Tuesday of the month) for about an hour -- probably due to po...

There were two other live clients in the server at the time, but they left after a while.

There are a couple of errors in your client part of the script (like... 4 of them), but by reading the server code you have produced, I made something that works. I tested it on the OpenSeason-DT server, and I was able to play for more than 15 minutes (I got bored of killing bots). I just need to fi...

Chances are your operating system doesn't provide sufficient scheduling granularity to do schedules below 14 milliseconds. The Windows uniprocessor kernel has interrupt granularity of 14 milliseconds; the Windows multiprocessor kernel has an interrupt granularity of 18 milliseconds. Since you are sc...

That looks pretty ancient. You can perform a container search on the projectile type mask instead. Container search doesn't require the creation of projectile sets.
